Fixing Park Scenes

Though it was already decided that there would be no more significant changes, my group had a change of heart. As my group reviewed the film that was put together, I kept thinking there was a problem with the park scenes. After some time discussing what could be done about this, my group finally made a decision. Though it is almost time for the final film to be ready, my group went back to film the park scenes. I tried my best to edit the scenes my group initially put together but it was decided that the film would be much better if the park scenes could just be reshot. This sounded like a lot of work which was the main reason why my group didn't want to reshoot these scenes.  However, my group wasn't happy with the previously completed version of the film. Due to this my group went to Easterlin park again and started to reshoot all park scenes. The priorities of this filming session were to make sure all dialogue was able to be heard and sounded more realistic. This basically means my group had to alter the script. To do this my group had to change most of the dialogue during the park scenes to then make sure they aligned with the base scenes. This was done because the dialogue in the original script didn't seem natural and didn't match the setting and environment the film belongs to. However the changes to the script were not major and did not affect the camera angles or actions the characters would take. The script changes essentially made the dialogue a little shorter and sounded a little more realistic considering the character's environments. When my group got to the park, a new shooting spot had to be picked. This is because the park was much busier during the second visit. The main attraction of Easterlin park is the disc golf course, as well as the playground, fields, and small nature path. However, for some reason the first place my group filmed at in the park was closed off so my group had to chose another spot. The new spot was somewhat better but had a disc golf basket next to it and a pathway nearby. This caused a small problem because my group had to stop filming when people were walking by, but besides that there were no problems. Next, I will edit these new shots into the film. Since my group has now gone through this process before, this time it should be much easier to edit the entire film.
