Scene 1: This scene begins with extreme close-ups on the actor's eyes and facial expressions and shifts between the two. There will not be much background definition, and it will last for three to five seconds. Scene 2: This scene will consist primarily of a wide shot of the actor walking down a railroad, and will pan to follow the actor as they curve further along the track. It will last several seconds longer than the last. Scene 3: This scene will begin with a low angle shot and will move further up the actor's profile until the focus is on the sun. This scene will be roughly as long as the one preceding it, and will be filmed fairly far away. Scene 4: This scene will be a still shot of the actor sitting on a curb and will be flashed very quickly (~2-3 seconds) to serve as a placeholder between two more dynamic scenes. Scene 5: This scene will return to the shot of the sun before the still was shown, and the sun will subtly fade into a shot of a lit street lamp, with the

Props : Our props are going to be minimal, possibly consisting of smaller ornamental items and background developers, but nothing serious. Costumes : In our music video, we will be opting for the more “normal”, plainclothes costumes seen in soft rock music videos. This choice was made both as a reaction to the song we are using, which does not give itself to the intensity seen elsewhere, and as a choice regarding the comfort and accessibility of the actors. The costume itself will likely consist of a simple T-shirt and shorts or jeans, possibly with other alterations such as a hat or jacket. Our subjects are likely going to be only one of our group members, though another may make an appearance in a background capacity for various reasons. Schedule : On 11/12/21, our group performed research into the conventions and stylistic similarities for our music video project. On 11/15/21 our group will discuss our costumes, filming plans, and schedules, among other details. On 11/17/21 and 11

My group is going to use a more poignant rock type of genre for our music video. In most music videos expressing this genre we see: Symbolism  Dim lighting Muted/darker colors Morose expressions Weather The styles and conventions my group sees expressed in most of this genre’s music videos are                      Conventions No real turning point A point of exhaustion Symbolic distortions Heightened emotional representation Night instead of day Genre : Rock/pop?? Genre is mostly classic rock with some pop undertones- primarily characterized as soft rock.  CLAMPS in general : Costumes are generally either very reserved and plain (normal clothes, occasionally hoodies but in general trying to convey the image of a normal, slightly weary person) or extremely garish and dramatic, popping out at the viewer. Lighting is low, usually near or total darkness/obscurity- can be used to show night. Acting conveys calm undercut with emotion- in the case of OUR SONG, NOT high excitement levels-

Group: Music Video

I'm in a group of two. My group has me and my partner Jake Vanzile. I decided to work in a group for this project because its better all around to work in a group. If I had decided to work alone it would likely lead to some issues. With a partner I get more motivation to do my work. I can also ask my partner about something I forgot in class if I need to. By working in a group we can finish faster and offer multiple/different perspectives. This is important because if you work by yourself you could be struggling for time and have a hard time thinking. Even though we are not a larger group it is still a lot faster to work in a group of two compared to being alone. It also is easier for us to work together because how we're situated in the classroom. We sit next to each other so its not hard to communicate. We are able to physically show each other a problem we have when we can't figure it out. It's also not as hard to brainstorm when we work together. We have worked on

Hi, my name is Jack Strien. I'm 15 years old and in the tenth grade. I go to Fort Lauderdale High School and take AICE Media Studies in my 3rd hour class. I initially wanted to take the course so I could learn more about analyzing and understanding the things I see in media related content. I have watched and still do watch a lot of tv shows and movies. I think because of this I started to develop an interest in what happens behind the scenes. When my older sister went to high school she took a class for photography. Sometimes when she was doing assignments I would see what she was doing. I always thought it was cool how she was taking pictures from different angles. Though I do know AICE Media Studies will be hard at times I'm still excited to learn about it. I would like to establish at least a basic understanding of the different aspects of this class. Learning about camera angles and editing are the aspects I'm looking forward to the most. I don't have any experie
