Deciding on a Genre

My group decided to chose the drama genre. This is mainly because it aligns with my groups top choice from the pitch options made. My group also finds the conventions appealing for a short film. I am confident my group can express the conventions very well. Writing a script may also be easier for my group when working with this genre because a lot of ideas are created when thinking about this genre. An important thing to remember for my group is that the characters in dramas convey a lot of emotion throughout their films.
