Storyboard for Final Task

 Scene 1: An establishing shot of the forest and surrounding area, panning from left to right.

Scene 2: Close-ups on pieces of scenery, shown in close sequence. This will last from five to seven seconds.

Scene 3: Close ups of scientific equipment on the forest floor. This will last for approximately five seconds.

Scene 4: Long or wide shot of actors working through the forest, panning to follow as they walk, will last for about seven seconds.

Scene 5: Medium long shot- filmed on eye level- of the actors speaking. This will last approximately ten seconds.


Scene 6: High angle medium shot of equipment being set up. This will last for about seven seconds.


Scene 7: Medium shot of a man at a computer with papers around him, filmed at eye level. This will last for around ten seconds as dialogue takes place.


Scene 8: A close up shot of the man’s computer, possibly filmed as a POV or over-the-shoulder shot. This will last for around five seconds.


Scene 9: An extreme close up of a bag of soil being held and filled.


Scene 10: Close up shot of a transmitting device. This will last for approximately five seconds.


Scene 11: Close up shot of a container of soil. This will last approximately three seconds.


Scene 12: Medium-long shot of the scientists talking. This will last for ten seconds.


Scene 13: A close up shot of the computer as a screen is pulled up, again filmed as an over the shoulder shot. This will last three seconds.


Scene 14: The previously shown screen has warnings appear. This will only last for two to three seconds.


Scene 15: A medium shot of the actor reacting to the screen, filmed on eye level. This will last three seconds.


Scene 16: A long shot of the forest, moving quickly through it. Filmed as a POV shot, it will last seven seconds.


Scene 17: A continuation of the previous scene, showing the camera approaching the scientists. This will last about five seconds.


Scene 18: A continuation of the previous two scenes, showing the camera almost at the scientists. This will last three seconds.


Scene 19: A medium shot of equipment being packed. This will last for seven seconds.


Scene 20: A close-up shot of a scientist packing equipment. This will last for five seconds.


Scene 21: A medium shot of an actor watching the forest, filmed at eye level. This will last for seven seconds


Scene 22: A close up of the computer screen showing a radar display. This will last for three seconds.


Scene 23: A second close up of the same screen displaying a closer mark than before. This will last for three seconds and may be accompanied by non diegetic sound.


Scene 24: An extreme close up of the screen displaying the mark even closer, with non diegetic sound effects. This will last for three seconds.


Scene 25: A medium long shot showing the group, filmed to be a POV shot as the camera closes in on them. This will last for five seconds.


Scene 26: A medium shot as a continuation from before, showing the camera getting close and closer, accompanied by voiceover meant to be taking place concurrently.


Scene 27: A close up continuation of the previous two shots, showing as the camera reaches the group. This will last for five seconds.


Scene 28: An extreme close up shot on the computer screen showing less marks than before, lasting for three seconds.


Scene 29: A continuation of the same close up shot but only displaying two marks.


Scene 30: A final extreme close up showing a lost signal.
