Rail Road Shots

Today was my group's last day of filming. We filmed our rail road track shots today. The rail road track shots covered the scenes my group didn't do on the first filming day. The rail road tracks my group went to are directly next to my neighborhood. They are on the opposite side of my neighborhood than the bridge. We started filming the scenes after driving to my neighborhood after school. It took us around 20 minutes to get to my neighborhood and around 10 minutes to get to the train tracks. After arriving at the location we planned out what we had to do to film. We didn't have any problems getting to the location but we had to cross a busy road which took some time before we could cross. there were some people working on a building across the tracks from us so we had to move farther down the way. We also moved away from the tracks to be safe. We had to check either direction a lot of times to make sure there were no trains so we knew when to get farther away. We weren't in any danger even if a train snuck up on us but we moved away a bit just to be safe. During the time we were filming here only two trains passed by both of which were Brightline's. In this location there wasn't any shade like there was at the bridge. Luckily, nobody in my group got sunburned but it was still pretty hot out. We had no problems filming at this location but we had to retake a couple shots. Some of the shots we took got to much glare from the sun and others got blurry because it was hard to see the phone screen that was filming while the sun was so bright. In all it was a lot easier to film in this location than at the bridge location. Today was the last day my group was filming. We had to make a couple more shots than we originally intended for scene 1 because it wouldn't have given the proper affect if we went with the original idea. The last things we have to do before our project is finished is to edit and then we should be completely done. My group will do the editing tomorrow and the day after.
