Half and Half
Today we started editing because we were able to finish filming yesterday. We filmed all of the clips on my partner's phone. Luckily, he still had storage. We were doing all of the editing on my phone. We decided to use iMovie since we learned how to use it in a past project. It took a while, but my partner was able to send me all of the videos we filmed, the Wi-Fi at school isn't very strong so we almost had to do it at a later time. After I received all of our videos we decided to sort them. In hindsight we probably should have done this on my phone but we did it on my partners phone. This process took a long time since we had no way to differentiate the videos except for the amount of seconds each video had. We needed to use most of the clips we had filmed, because of this narrowing down the videos was mostly trial and error. Most of our clips occurred directly after the one before which unfortunately messed with the amount of time our video had, but we weren't at the shortening stage yet. Once all of our clips we in correct order my partner sent them to me again. This led to another error, because he sent them to me again they got put out of order. This time we had a better idea of how to sort them so it was easier, but it took longer than we had time for. At this point we decided to split the rest of the work into halves. I did the editing for the first page and my partner did the editing for the second page. While I was doing my part in the editing my partner gave me his opinions on what I was doing while he worked on his blog. I was going to do this blog while he did his part. My editing was faster than my partners but he still got his part done in time. My partner ended up cutting most clips down to work with the song while we listened to it simultaneously. We decided to finish it tomorrow since there was a little left. All that's left is some visual effects and move some clips according to the time.
